Why do I see ads?
CricoScore shows these ads. You can’t turn them off.
Where you see ads
1. On a live match screen
One picture ad sits at the top, under the tabs. A second one sits at the bottom.
Each has a small Ad label in the top right corner.
They stay when you change tabs.
They show only while a local match is live. A finished match has none.
They hide while you watch the video full screen.
2. On the Home tab
A sponsor card with a SPONSORED label. It has Learn more or Watch video.
Tap the × on the card to hide that ad. It comes back after one day.
3. Inside the live video
Sponsors' ads can play inside the stream. They can be a short video, a sliding picture or an L-shaped frame.
The match comes back after a few seconds.
What happens when I tap an ad?
Some ads open the sponsor's website. Others do nothing when you tap them.
An ad never opens anything by itself.
Can I turn them off?
No. There is no button to close the match screen ads, and no ad-free plan. The organiser and the scorer can't turn them off either. Only CricoSoft can.
