Data deletion

This page explains how to delete your CricoScore account and the personal data we hold about you, including any data we received from Facebook when you connected your account.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)

1. Open CricoScore on your phone.
2. Go to Account → Settings → Delete Account.
3. Confirm deletion. Your account and personal data are removed within 30 days.

Option 2 — Email request

If you cannot access the app, send an email from your registered address:

• To: cricosoft@gmail.com
• Subject: Delete my CricoScore account
• Body: Your registered phone or email + the player handle you want deleted.

We will confirm receipt within 3 working days and complete deletion within 30 days.

Option 3 — Disconnect Facebook only (keep your CricoScore account)

If you only want to revoke our access to your Facebook data without deleting your CricoScore account:

1. Open the app → Stream → Settings → Facebook → Disconnect. We immediately delete your Facebook user token and cached Pages from our servers.
2. You can also revoke access from Facebook’s side: facebook.com/settings/?tab=business_tools → find CricoScore → Remove.

What gets deleted

• Your account profile (name, phone/email, photo, handle, bio)
• Posts, comments, likes, saved posts, follows
• Hire requests, scorer assignments, and direct chat history
• Stream session history and any stored Facebook/YouTube tokens or stream keys
• Push notification tokens
• Blood bank profile (if you opted in)

What we may retain

• Match records that other users contributed to (e.g. if you were a player in someone else’s match) may remain in the public cricket record, with your handle replaced by a generic placeholder.
• Server access logs for up to 90 days, for security and abuse prevention.
• Anonymized aggregates (e.g. total matches per region) that cannot be linked back to you.
• Records required by law, such as tax or fraud-prevention records, where retention is mandated.
