How to search for players and matches
Find a player, a match or an international star.
Who can do this
Everyone. Sign in to use the role filters and to message players.
Before you start
Your phone has internet.
Search for a player
On Home, tap the magnifying glass 🔍 at the top right. The search screen opens.
Check that People is chosen at the top.
Type a name or @username. Signed in, you can also type a full phone number or email.
To see only one kind of player, tap a role:
All
Batsman
Bowler
All-Rounder
Keeper
WK-Batter
Look at the results. Each player shows runs, wickets and matches. A green dot means they are online.
Tap a player to open their profile. Or tap the round chat button to message them.
On Home, the ⋮ button → Discover Players opens the same screen.
Search for a match
On the search screen, tap Matches.
Type a team or tournament name, for example Shorisa XI.
Tap a match to open it.
Search for an international player
Tap International.
Type a name. Tap the player to see their stats.
Common problems
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| "Type at least 2 characters. Sign in to message players." | You are signed out. Type at least 2 letters. Sign in to see filters and message. |
| No players found | Check the spelling. Tap Clear filters to remove the role filter. |
| The chat button is grey | That player has no account. You can't message them. |
| "Couldn't load players" | Check your internet. Tap to try again. |
| A phone search finds nothing | Type the whole number. Part of a number does not work. |
