How to use team and tournament group chats

Chat with your whole team, or with the captains of a tournament.

Who can do this

Members of the group only. CricoScore adds the members for you.

Before you start

You are signed in.
Your phone has internet.
You are in a team squad. Or you are a captain, vice-captain or organiser in a tournament.

Who is in each group

Nobody makes these groups. CricoScore makes them automatically. You can't add or remove people yourself.

Group	Members
Team group (shows Team)	The person who made the team, and every squad player with a CricoScore account
Tournament group (shows Org)	The organiser, co-organisers, and the captain and vice-captain of each team

To join a team group, ask the team owner to add you to the squad. See How to manage a team and squad.

Players added only by name (with no account) are not in the group.

In the bottom bar, tap Messages.
Under GROUPS, tap a group, for example Shorisa XI. Swipe sideways to see more groups.
Type in Message the group — type @ to mention. Tap the send arrow.
The first time, you see Before you post. Tap I agree. You see it only once per account.
To name someone, type @. Tap their name in the list. They get a notification.

Tap the people icon at the top right. You see Members and their roles.
Press and hold a message. Tap Reply, Copy, View profile or Report.
On your own message, tap Seen by to see who has read it.

Problem	What to do
I don't see my team's group	Ask the team owner to add you to the squad as a registered player.
Not a member of this group	You don't have a role in this team or tournament now.
I want to add a friend to the group	You can't. Add them to the team squad instead.
I can't find someone with @	Only members with a player profile can be named.
"Message not sent"	Check your internet. Tap send again.
