How to check who can do what in CricoScore
See what each person can do: fans, players, captains, team owners, scorers and organisers.
Who can do this
Everyone. This page only explains.
Before you start
Nothing. Just read the table.
The app shows the same screens to everyone. If you are not allowed to do something, the app tells you when you try. That is not a fault in the app.
One person can have many roles. You can own your team and be a plain fan in another tournament.
The roles
| Role | Who it is | What they can do |

| Fan | Anyone, even without an account | Watch scores, match pages, tournaments, teams, players and live video. |
| Player | Anyone who is signed in | Everything a fan can do. Post, comment, chat, follow, vote and predict. Earn CS Points. Create a match, a team or a tournament. Log practice. |
| Captain or vice-captain | Marked Captain or Vice Captain in the team squad, and linked to their account | Set the Playing XI for their team. The organiser can ring them about it. |
| Team owner | The person who made the team, or a squad member marked Owner | Change the squad. Choose the captain. Set the Playing XI. Add or remove team admins. Only the person who made the team can delete it. |
| Team admin | Added by the team owner in Team admins | Change the squad. Set the Playing XI. Can't add admins or delete the team. |
| Scorer | Made the match, or said yes to a scorer request | Score the match. Go live and control the stream. |
| Organiser | The person who made the tournament | Add matches. Change the tournament. Add co-organisers. Run stream ads and a player auction. Set the Playing XI for any team. Delete the tournament (only the organiser). |
| Co-organiser — Manager ("Full access") | Added by the organiser in Manage Access | Nearly all the organiser can do. Add matches, change the tournament, score, stream. Also stream ads, auction, Playing XI. Can't add co-organisers or delete the tournament. |
| Co-organiser — Scorer ("Score only") | Added by the organiser in Manage Access | Score the tournament's matches. Change a match's status, result and video links. Can't add matches or change the tournament. |
| Auction organiser | The tournament's organiser or a Manager | Set up and run the player auction. Team owners and team admins enter their team. Players register with the player link. |
Common problems
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| "You can't add matches to this tournament" | Only the organiser or a Manager can add matches. Ask the organiser. |
| "You can only send requests for matches you created" | Ask the person who made the match to send the scorer request. |
| "Only the team owner can add admins" | Ask the team owner to add you. |
| "Only the tournament owner can delete it" | Only the organiser can delete a tournament. |
| I don't see the Manage tab on a tournament | Only the organiser and Managers see it. |
