How to bring teams into the auction

After this guide, your team is in the auction. It has read the rules and kept its players.

Who can do this

  • Team owners and team admins: join, read the rules, keep players, withdraw.

  • The organiser (the tournament owner or a Manager): invite, approve, decide on kept players.

Before you start

  • The CricoScore app, with internet, and an account.

  • Team owners: the Team link from the organiser. Or an invite.

  • The organiser has tapped Open registration. See K1.

Team owner: join the auction

  1. Open the Team link the organiser sent you. The app opens Enter your team.

  2. Not signed in? Tap Sign in first.

  3. Find your team, for example Shorisa XI. Tap Apply.

  4. You see Application sent. The organiser decides. You get a notice.

No team yet? Tap Create a team. Type the Team name, then tap Create team. Then tap Apply.

Team owner: accept an invite

  1. Open My Cricket → ORGANIZE → My auctions.

  2. Under MY TEAMS, tap your team. It says Invited.

  3. Tap Accept. You see Your team is in. Or tap Decline.

Organiser: invite and approve teams

  1. On the auction screen, go to INVITE A TEAM. Tap Invite next to a tournament team.

  2. Under TEAM APPLICATIONS, tap View team to check the team.

  3. Tap Approve. Or tap Reject. An approved team also joins the tournament.

Did a team leave, or was it not accepted? To bring it back, open ALL TEAMS. Tap the team, then tap Approve again.

Team owner: read the rules

Every approved team must do this. The auction can't be marked ready without it.

  1. In My auctions → MY TEAMS, tap your team. It may say rules to acknowledge.

  2. Under RULES, tap Rules sheet.

  3. Read the rules. At the bottom, tap We have read the rules.

If the organiser changes the settings, do this again.

Team owner: keep players (retentions)

You can do this when the auction shows Retentions.

  1. Open your team in My auctions → MY TEAMS.

  2. Under KEEP PLAYERS FROM YOUR ROSTER, tap Keep next to a player.

  3. Tap Retained player or Icon player. You see Sent to the organizer.

Changed your mind? Under RETENTIONS, tap Take back.

Organiser: decide on kept players

  1. On the auction screen, go to RETENTIONS TO DECIDE.

  2. Type the Price, or leave it blank if the rules fix it.

  3. Tap Confirm. The team's purse is charged. Or tap Send back.

You can give a pool player to a team. Under RETENTIONS BY TEAM, tap Give a player from the pool. Choose the player, then tap Give to the team.

Team owner: leave the auction

  1. Open your team in My auctions → MY TEAMS.

  2. Tap Withdraw the team. Then tap Withdraw.

Common problems
